Abstract:
This paper studies forecasting the use of renewable energies in the water and wastewater industry. Different methods have been proposed to show energy recovery techniques and the use of renewable energy in wastewater treatment. The results indicate that increasing the carbon tax to more than 30 USD per ton of CO2 could reduce emissions from all fossil-fuel power plant types by 30%.
