Jasper Abembia Ayelazuno
Land Use Policy, 2019, vol. 81, issue C, 843-851
Abstract:
The paper outlines the conceptual and theoretical foundation for the contributions in this special issue. After unpacking land-governance, the core theme of this issue, the paper reviews theoretical work in the area of agrarian political economy, which provides a lens for understanding the dynamics of capitalist farming and mining in Africa. Each of the eight papers contained in the volume is then summarised.
