Abstract:
In a foreshortened era when the international community has undergone a number of changes and the word 'global' has come to mean not a limitless expanse but rather an all-too-confined and finite orb, UNCLOS has set several benchmarks in multilateral diplomacy. In this light, its accomplishments are truly remarkable.
