Abstract:
In formal terms, UNCTAD's Code of Conduct for Liner Conferences came into force on 6 October 1983. This has intensified discussion on many aspects of its future practical application, generally and in individual conferences, whether such conferences intend to apply the Code in full or partly (many intend to do so as a formality, if at all).
