Anonymous and positively responsive aggregation rules

Abstract: May’s Theorem characterizes simple majority rule with the conditions of anonymity, neutrality, and positive responsiveness. We characterize the class of rules satisfying anonymity and positive responsiveness using the concept of a strong quota pair system.
