The influence of using biogas digesters on family energy consumption and its economic benefit in rural areas--comparative study between Lianshui and Guichi in China

Abstract: The construction of biogas digesters has improved the family energy consumption structure, promoted the development of livestock breeding and farm production in the countryside. Through the comparative study of the questionnaires filled out by individual families in Lianshui, Jiangsu Province and Guichi, Anhui Province, we figured out the different effects of biogas digesters in different areas on household energy consumption and their benefits to economy and environment.
