Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, 2015, vol. 42, issue C, 1370-1384

Abstract: In liberalized electricity markets, environmental aspects are often used in marketing in addition to price competition and a wide variety of green electricity products marketed as environmentally friendly is available for customers. We study these green electricity markets in the UK, Germany and Finland and discuss possible problems between voluntary markets and renewable energy policies in particular.
