Abstract:
The deployment of smart grids aims to improve the quality, reliability, safety and efficiency of electrical systems and their management processes to meet current needs and commitments for the future. Smart grid technologies evolve rapidly and have a high risk of early obsolescence. The need for high financial investments and the fast pace of technological changes suggest a careful step-by-step approach to the deployment process.
