Abstract:
The major concern about the generation of industrial waste is related to its impacts on human health and the environment. World poultry production has had an accelerated growth in recent years, and so did the waste produced by this chain. The objective of the current research is to provide an overview of the poultry slaughter's current practices and the main forms of slaughter waste disposal and processing, as well as to review the literature on the legal aspect of the disposal method, thus coming up with possible energy allocations for this waste which adds value to the chain's final product.
