On retrotopias

Abstract:
In his last book, Zygmunt Bauman attracted the attention of the readers to a contemporary phenomenon – a nostalgia for the past, which not necessarily existed. In this text I analyze three examples of such retrotopias, originating in various kinds of dysphoria – technological, political and academic.
