Abstract: This paper reports the results of a research study and analysis of the process of change in Polish enterprises. The capacity for changes in Polish enterprises depends on the material, economic and organizational conditions, which in turn depend on the particular firm's resources and the new situation on the market. In an interpretive description of the situation we explore the following: areas of change, internal potential for change, preferred forms of ownership changes in the enterprise.
