Managing art-related businesses
Dag Björkegren
Scandinavian Journal of Management, 1993, vol. 9, issue 3, 175-187
Abstract:
The production of art has become an international multi-billion dollar industry during the twentieth century. Up to now attention has been focused on the art products themselves and on their aesthetic status and moral desirability. The activities of the associated cultural industries have remained largely unexplored. This article takes a tentative step towards filling this gap in the study of organizations.
