Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics (formerly The Journal of Socio-Economics), 2008, vol. 37, issue 5, 1785-1788

Abstract: In a sample of 139 community residents, attitudes toward money and credit cards were found to be associated with a measure of prefrontal cortex dysfunction (FrSBe), even after controls for age, sex, education and income. The results provide support for a neuroeconomic approach to the study of economic behavior.
