Socioeconomic disparities in adolescent substance use: Role of enjoyable alternative substance-free activities

Abstract: To examine whether reduced substance-free enjoyable activity (i.e., ‘alternative reinforcers’) is a mediating mechanism linking lower socioeconomic status and adolescent substance use risk.
