Nutritional status and the incidence and duration of diarrhoeal disease among children in Northeast Thailand

Abstract: In Thailand, diarrhoeal diseases are among major community health problems. The relationship between nutrition status and the incidence and duration of diarrhoea was studied in a sample of 1,117 mothers and 1,364 children under the age of 5 years. The findings are reported and analysed.
