Abstract: Previous studies have found that maternal occupational choice can directly impact fetal health and mothers’ energy and time available for childcare. Moreover, reduced caregiving time is associated with poorer child health. However, how maternal occupational factors (work nature/income/stress) affect child health has not been fully explored.
