Sjaak van der Geest and Samuel Sarkodie

Social Science & Medicine, 1998, vol. 47, issue 9, 1373-1381

The experiment was meant to assess the feasibility of carrying out unobtrusive participant observation in a hospital setting. Practical, methodological and ethical implications are discussed.
