Stochastic demographic models: age of a population

Anne-Marie Borde-Boussion

Stochastic Processes and their Applications, 1990, vol. 35, issue 2, 279-291

Abstract: A law of large numbers theorem is established for measure-valued processes describing the age distribution of particles. The proofs are based on Hilbertian techniques, as the measures are regarded as elements of the dual of some weighted Sobolev space.
