Statistics & Probability Letters, 2017, vol. 123, issue C, 202-209

Abstract: The consistency and asymptotic normality of the maximum likelihood estimators (MLEs), based on progressively type-I interval censored (PIC-I) data are proved under appropriate regularity conditions. The information obtained in the PIC-I setup is compared with that of grouped data and also with progressively type-I censored (PC-I) data.
