A new flexible extreme value model for modeling the extreme value data, with an application to environmental data

Abstract: In this paper we suggest and study a new model, which is more capable of modeling the maximum values than the well-known linear and power models. Moreover, the suggested model is successfully applied on a real extreme-value data.
