Abstract:
In the study of maintained coherent systems the information that the stochastic process governing the system is associated can be used to provide bounds for the system reliability. A binary semi-Markov pocess is appropriate to model many repairable systems. Hence, a sufficient condition for association in time of a semi-Markov process is derived.
