Statistics & Probability Letters, 2021, vol. 170, issue C

Abstract: We prove that some results claimed for the dispersive ordering are not valid and provide some contributions in this direction. Then, we revisit the dispersive ordering of order statistics from IRHR distributions. Several extensions to generalized order statistics are obtained.
