Bayesian interim analysis of censored exponential observations

Seymour Geisser

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1993, vol. 18, issue 2, 163-168

Abstract: We suppose that a minimum sample size is required before a conclusion is reached regarding a trial involving exponential variables subject to censoring and loss to follow-up. It is also assumed that subjects may be put on test at varying times. A Bayesian predictive algorithm is obtained for an interim analysis at N observations when another M observations are contemplated.
