On the compression phenomenon of typical discrepancies

Abstract:
This study theoretically examines the compression phenomenon of typical discrepancies. The optimal compression ratio of different discrepancies behaves differently and is related to the dimension and sample size. The numerical results are consistent with the theoretical results.
