A statistical test of unidimensionality of a parameter underlying Bernoulli trails with applications

William Stout

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1983, vol. 1, issue 4, 183-188

Abstract: A statistical test of the unidimensionality of the parameter underlying independent non-identically distributed Bernoulli trials is proposed and large sample results are derived. The procedure has applications in psychometry and hopefully other applied disciplines.

Keywords: Statistical test of unidimensionality latent trait theory; large sample theory asymptotic normality (search for similar items in EconPapers)
