Logarithmic scale asymptotics for random walks with Weibull-like upper tail distributions

Abstract: We present new asymptotic results in logarithmic scale for random walks with Weibull-like upper tail distributions. The rate of convergence is essentially dictated by the stretched exponential part of the tail distribution therein.
