Abstract:
Using a dispersion function, a rank-based inference is developed for repeated measures incomplete block designs (IBD). Asymptotic distributions of rank estimators follow from the approximate linearity of the gradient vector of the dispersion function. Three asymptotically equivalent test statistics are developed for testing the equality of the treatment effects. Estimation and testing are tied together.
