A measurement of multi-factor orthogonality

Lih-Yuan Deng, Dennis K. J. Lin and Jiannong Wang

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1996, vol. 28, issue 3, 203-209

Abstract: Orthogonality has been considered as an important design priority in the design literature. This article provides a set of criteria to measure "how orthogonal" a design may be when it is not perfectly orthogonal. These criteria can be obviously applied to a wide variety of designs. Properties of these criteria are discussed, using some existing supersaturated designs as examples.
