Frequentist properties of a Bayesian analog to Fabian's bound

Ping Sa and Don Edwards

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1997, vol. 32, issue 4, 417-424

Abstract: Fabian proposed a confidence upper bound for the distance of the selected treatment's mean to "the best". We consider a Bayesian approach to Fabian's problem. We derive some properties of the Bayesian approach and compare it with other methods by simulation.
