A note on using location shift in the Midzuno-Sen scheme of sampling with a transformed variable

J. Sahoo

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1997, vol. 33, issue 3, 285-290

Abstract: Following Srivenkataramana (1980), a transformed variable z is used at the design stage under the Midzuno-Sen (1952) scheme of sampling. The variable z is further suitably retransformed to another variable u for the universal application of the scheme.
