Maximin efficient designs another view at D-optimality

Rainer Schwabe

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1997, vol. 35, issue 2, 109-114

Abstract: The concept of maximin efficiency is shown to be equivalent to D-optimality in linear models if the set of interesting linear combinations is rich enough. This result is applied to obtain maximin efficient designs for nonlinear aspects and in case of heteroscedastic errors.
