A regression model to combine results from 2 x 2 tables

Abstract: A test is proposed for the comparison of two treatments with respect to a dichotomous outcome observed in several tables. The relationship of the proposed statistic to the C([alpha]) test and to a test proposed by Radhakrishna is discussed.
