An alternative criterion useful for finding exact E-optimal designs

Statistics & Probability Letters, 2000, vol. 47, issue 4, 325-328

Abstract: One criterion for generating optimal designs is E-optimality, which minimizes the maximum eigenvalue of the inverse information matrix. The difficulty is in determining the design that yields the global optimal solution. We present a method to find exact E-optimal designs.
