A random power record model

Glenn Hofmann and H. N. Nagaraja

Statistics & Probability Letters, 2002, vol. 56, issue 4, 345-353

Abstract: We introduce a random power record model and explore small-sample and asymptotic properties of the associated record times and record counts. We establish a hierarchical relationship between several previously studied record models and show that this model incorporates all of them.
