Abstract:
Robustness of designs eliminating heterogeneity in two directions to outliers is studied. The important class of variance balanced row-column designs which satisfy the property of adjusted orthogonality are shown to be robust. Some general three-way balanced designs with balanced column vs row classification are also shown to be robust.
