A test of goodness of fit testing for stochastic intensities associated to counting processes

Abstract: An asymptotic goodness of fit testing for stochastic intensities associated to counting processes is derived. Moreover, this result is applied to the stochastic version of the Kermack and McKendrick model for a general epidemic.
