Inverse factorial moments

M. C. Jones

Statistics & Probability Letters, 1987, vol. 6, issue 1, 37-42

Abstract: Formulae for inverse factorial moments are given as single integrals involving the moment-, probability-, or factorial-moment-generating-functions. The results complement a multiple integral representation of Lepage (1978). Examples of the utility of our approach are given. Finally, analogies with Cressie and Borkent's (1986) work on ordinary moments are explored.
