Statistics & Probability Letters, 2008, vol. 78, issue 17, 3075-3081

Abstract: We consider the problem of jointly estimating the number as well as the parameters of 2D sinusoidal signals, observed in the presence of an additive white Gaussian noise field. In this paper we prove the strong consistency of a large family of model order selection rules.
