A note on geodesics for supercritical continuum percolation

Statistics & Probability Letters, 2013, vol. 83, issue 3, 797-804

Abstract: In this paper, we obtain moderate deviations for the graph distance in supercritical continuum percolation and the corresponding shape theorem. Using the moderate deviations, we get the fluctuation exponents for the geodesics, which are not yet obtained for lattice first passage percolation. These results have applications in communication networks.
