Abstract:
Aircraft noise has long been a source of public annoyance. The public often reacts by filing noise complaints. It is expected that when unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) become more prevalent, and this new source of aviation noise is experienced by a larger cross-section of the public, reactions will include complaining about the noise UAS create. Heretofore, the literature has revealed no detailed analyses of individuals’ intention to complain about UAS noise.
