Abstract:
The vital role of telecommunications in developing countries has been highlighted in recent international studies. The lack of telecommunications management training is a critical factor in telecommunications development. The Telecommunications Executive Management Institute of Canada (TEMIC) was established in 1986 to provide this training. This report describes how TEMIC was established and examines the invaluable role it plays in telecommunications training.
