Information economy and the next presidency: Policy options for the USA

Abstract:
In the light of the forthcoming US presidential election, this article looks at the challenges that the new president will face as the US economy becomes increasingly information-based. It stresses that the USA needs a president who understands the new economy and its national and international ramifications.
