The EC telecommunications sector: Some controversies
Emilio Lera Salso
Telecommunications Policy, 1989, vol. 13, issue 1, 10-12
Abstract:
Many controversies exist in today's EC telecommunications sector, caused by concepts, theories and policies being used in different contexts, with distinct meanings, and being applied in different timeframes. This has disastrous implications for policy-making. This article presents some of the controversies in the telecommunications sector and declares that many variables must be considered when modelling the future of the sector, both at Community and member state level.
