Tuen-yu Lau
Telecommunications Policy, vol. 16, issue 7, 576-590
Abstract:
This article analyses the impacts of introducing multichannel television to the Asia-Pacific region. It uses Hong Kong as a case study to illustrate the issues faced by policy planners in the region. The first pan-Asian satellite television, Star TV, which covers 2.7 billion people in 38 countries, will give rise to a host of policy concerns regionally.
