Automated information systems in the registro de la propiedad industrial (Spain)
Roberto Martínez Diez
World Patent Information, 1989, vol. 11, issue 2, 85-92
Abstract:
A brief description of the current operational systems of the Spanish Office is given, followed by an explanation of the automation strategy being pursued for improvement and expansion of the systems. The systems cover patents, trademarks and information systems available to the public and the demand for improved automation systems has been dictated by the increase in the total number of applications to be dealt with arising from a large increase in trademark applications and an expected large number of European Patent Office applications designating Spain.
