Abstract:
The Patent Law of China, which has been in force since 1985, has been revised in 1993 to adapt to the needs of further reform and openness and also to the international trend of harmonization. Some major amendments such as expanding the technical scope of patent right protection to include chemicals, pharmaceuticals, etc. will certainly contribute to the increasing value of Chinese patent information.
