Abstract:
The Czech Industrial Property Office was established in 1993. It had its origins in the Czechoslovak Patent Office between 1919 and 1993. Patent information activities since 1993 have been directed towards the enhancement of internal databases, of free-of-charge external databases, publications, and dissemination of information. In addition a range of value-added patent, trademark and industrial design search services for the public have been developed. The Industrial Property Training Institute provides training courses and a range of publishing activities.
