A rapid analysis of Avian Influenza patents in the Esp@cenet® database - R&D strategies and country comparisons

Abstract: Avian Influenza is a very hot field. In this rapid analysis we show how patents can be used to rapidly determine the trends of R&D in this field as well as some differences between different groups of countries, academic institutions and companies.
