The role of patent information in relation to transfer of technology

G. Roberto Coaracy

World Patent Information, 1982, vol. 4, issue 4, 159-163

Abstract: After some general remarks about various aspects of transfer of technology to developing countries, the potential contributions thereto of patent documentation are enumerated. A recent survey shows that so far in Brazil only very little of this potential has been realized. Various ways in which the Brazilian INPI is promoting the use of patent information are indicated.
