Peculiarities of monetary policy in Ukraine

Abstract: The article analyzes the practice of use of monetary policy instruments in Ukraine from the point of view of their efficiency, correspondence to market and attaining the final goals of monetary policy. The author provides an in-depth analysis of the policy of compulsory reserves, interest policy, re-financing of commercial banks, open-market transactions with securities and the policy of support of the national currency.
